Sometimes the decision to book a boudoir session isn’t about photos at all.
It’s about something deeper.
For her, it was about reclaiming herself.

When she applied, she didn’t talk about wanting to feel sexy or glamorous.
She said:
“I wanted to participate in this project as a way to reclaim myself.”
That’s something I hear from so many women who come to my Columbia boudoir studio.
They’re not looking to become someone new.
They’re looking to come back to themselves.

After going through three surgeries and removing her breast implants, she made a powerful shift.
Instead of hiding, she chose to highlight a part of herself she had once struggled with.
That takes courage.
Because most women walk in thinking:
👉 “I need to fix this first.”
👉 “I’ll wait until I feel better about my body.”
But confidence doesn’t come before the session.
It happens during it.

Even after doing sessions before, she still felt a little nervous.
That’s normal.
But she also knew something important:
“I’m always a little nervous, but having done 2 shoots with Ginny already, I know I’m in good hands.”
And that trust changes everything.
Because when you feel safe, you relax.
And when you relax… that’s when your confidence shows up.

Ariel described her experience like this:
“It was everything and more… Ginny used her creative magic and created everything I could’ve wanted.”
You don’t need to:
That’s my job.

One of the most powerful things she shared was this:
“I’ve done a lot of healing… but I still have more to do.”
That’s real.
And it’s exactly why boudoir can be so transformative.
You don’t have to be “finished.”
You’re allowed to show up exactly where you are. Find out more about how to prepare for a session here.
Her message to other women:
“You are beautiful and perfect just the way you are.”
If you don’t believe that yet…
That’s okay.
You don’t have to.
But this Columbia area experience might help you start to.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time…
This might be it.
